“Welbourne strikes you with its authenticity. One would be hard pressed to find a more genuine period experience centrally located in Middleburg's horse country. History, Family, Southern, foxhunting, literary, Civil War, and greater equine. Total relaxation-- the ability to sit on the front porch with coffee, pull books off the library shelf to read, or range freely with dogs across over 500 acres with horses enjoying an unchanged landscape. It's a respite from the weight of the 21st-century.”
