The Welbourne Experience
We feature a hearty southern breakfast served on the family china and silver in the Dining Room on the weekends. Breakfast during the week by prior arrangement. We often gather nightly for cocktails—in the Parlour during the colder months and on the porch when weather permits. Self-service coffee and tea are available anytime.
Guests may use all common rooms: Library, Parlour, Music Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Porches (plenty of rocking chairs!). We also offer access to our 520-acre farm for walking along Goose Creek, in the woods, and across open fields, where you may commune with our 80 retired horses. You may peruse our extensive library of more than 10,000 books.
Welbourne is an ideal venue for cocktail and dinner parties, family reunions, conferences, meetings, and retreats. We do select weddings and rehearsal dinners. It’s been the setting for a feature film, Crazy Like a Fox, an episode of The Amazing Race, fashion and magazine shoots and the subject of television features. Please contact us for event dates and details.
